Perfect for slow winter cooking, our diced beef is taken from the hardworking muscles of the animal — the cuts that truly shine with long, gentle simmering. As it cooks, the meat softens beautifully and develops a deep, savoury richness that makes for a proper, comforting stew. The beef comes from our own herd of organic, pasture-fed Dexter cross cattle, raised with care here on The Free Company farm. Their grass-based diet and low-stress life give the meat its hearty flavour and reliable tenderness when cooked low and slow. A 500g pack is ideal for a cosy stew for two to three people.
