Beef - Fortified Mince (500g)

Mince is a versatile staple and is prepared from carefully selected cuts to give a great balance of flavour and texture, but this mince has been fortified with heart (a ratio of 80% beef cuts and 20% beef heart). Beef heart is incredibly nutrient dense and is high in protien, iron, zinc and selenium. It is also a great source of B2, B12 and CoQ10, collagen and choline. Beef heart is similar in flavour to a rich steak so you should only notice a slightly deeper beefy flavour, if any difference in flavour at all, to our regular mince, making it a great way to get more nutrients in to your diet.

A 500g pack is ideal for two to four portions, depending on the recipe.

The mince comes from our own herd of organic, pasture-fed Dexter cross cattle, raised slowly and with care here on The Free Company farm. Their grass-based diet and low-stress life result in mince that’s full of honest, hearty flavour.

Our butchery products are frozen immediately after production to ensure they maintain their high quality and freshness. Simply defrost or put them straight in to your own freezer.
