Beef Heart

A whole beef heart, approximately 2kg. A lesser used cut but it is incredibly nutritious and has a rich flavour. It can be slow cooked, diced and added to stews, or it can be trimmed down and cut in to strips that are perfect for frying or grilling just like steak.
All meat comes from our own herd of organic, pasture-fed Dexter Cross cows, raised slowly and with care here on The Free Company farm. Their grass-based diet and gentle finishing give the meat its deep flavour.
Our butchery products are frozen immediately after production to ensure they maintain their high quality and freshness. Simply defrost or put them straight in to your own freezer.
